Combining EXOLITE Soft Shell fabric and GORE-TEX INFINIUM™, Mission pants are ideally suited to cold weather mountaineering and hiking. Built with performance and all day comfort in mind, our Mountain fit is combined with essentials such as integrated venting and reinforced kick strips.
Our Verdict
Mountain Equipment's Mission Pant are a heavy duty and fully featured winter soft shell pant. The pants offer all day comfort with the stretchy fabric enabling full range of movement.
The hybrid construction of Gore Infinium/Wind Stopper and Exolite soft shell fabric gives extra durability and water resistance at the seat and knees and greater stretch and breathability elsewhere. Everything about these pants says there are built for function and to last with reinforced panels around the ankles and tough feel everywhere.
Features wise you get 4 zipped pockets and 2 zipped vents on the thigh to release some steam if your working hard. The integrated belt allows you to get the fit just right. Down on the ankles, zipped gussets and elasticated velcro hems enable you to adapt to whatever footwear you choose. Lace hooks are provided as well.
