Our Verdict
At 21g, the Gossamer Gear Little Towel is one of those small additions that quickly proves its worth. The 12-by-12-inch chamois fabric, a suede-like microfibre material, feels soft against the skin and absorbs water effectively, whether wiping down after a wash or dealing with condensation inside a shelter.
The small attachment hook is genuinely useful. Clipped to the outside of a pack, it remains easy to access and dries as you walk. As someone who wears glasses, having an easily accessible cloth to clear rain, sweat or smudges is particularly welcome, and the fabric is gentle enough not to scratch lenses.
It is a straightforward piece of kit, but it delivers reliable performance with minimal weight or fuss.
