Primus have updated their popular Lite+ with a number of changes. The highly efficient burner head and integrated pot remain but upgrades in the insulation and a focus on more environmentally friendly materials being included.

The Lite Plus Stove System has always been the perfect solution for solo trips or a coffee break for two. G-1000 ECO Lite sleeve is insulated with natural cork, ensuring a good grip, safe handling and reduced environmental impact.
Packable like no other, this compact stove system fits the burner assembled with 100- gram gas cartridge, and accessories, into the 500 ml hard-anodized aluminum pot. When in use, the unique pot-to-burner locking mechanism provides a secure connection. Laminar Flow Burner technology and a built-in heat exchanger make the stove incredibly efficient, boiling water in less than three minutes.
Our Verdict
Primus' Lite Plus Stove System has been updated to make it more environmentally friendly and more practical. Much of the design that made this stove system so successful in the first place remains, such as the heat exchanger pot with integrated burner, integrated Piezo Igniter and heat control valve, the strainer lid and cup combo, and also the G-1000 pot cozy. The innovative locking mechanism between the pot and burner is also there with the addition of the screws attached to the handle which allow you to use other pots with the same burner head.
In terms of the upgrades, the use of bioplastic for the lid is an improvement and this doubling up as the cup means that you can cut out using less environmentally friendly plastics from your camp set up. The lid has perforations, which combined with the new pouring spout on the pot makes for a much more practical and safe pouring experience. The G-1000 material used on the pot cozy is now backed with natural cork to provide more insulation.
