A strikingly light and reliable waterproof jacket for all kinds of activities. We designed it to be lighter and more breathable and packable than ever before. The main material is made entirely out of PERTEX Shield Revolve fabric. Mono-material products are easier to recycle at the end of their useful lifetime. It features an adjustable hood, drop hem, and cuffs for a personalized fit, as well as a generous set of hand pockets that double as side ventilation while you’re working hard.
Our Verdict
At 317g for a Medium, the Haglöfs LIM Airak 2.5L Jacket sits comfortably in the lightweight shell category, but what stands out is its fabric. Pertex Shield Revolve, a mono-material made from recycled polyester, gives it an eco-conscious edge without losing performance. With a 20,000mm hydrostatic head and matching breathability rating, it efficiently handles strenuous efforts in wet weather.
The cut is clean and efficient, though slightly snug compared to older L.I.M pieces. The hood has a good brim and adjusts well, and the hem and cuffs cinch down neatly. I liked the dual-purpose hand pockets, which also work as vents. The waterproof front zip and reflective accents round it out nicely for long or low-light days.
