Versatile hiking pants for outdoor exploring. The recycled polyamide and elastane fabric is soft yet durable with 4-way stretch for easy wear on or off the trail. The UPF 50+ sun protection repels harmful rays and the wicking finish keeps you dry in warmer weather. The regular fit pairs with three pockets for versatility and convenience. The Hiking V Pants are ready to help you enjoy the outdoors in comfort.
Our Verdict
The Mammut Hiking V Pants strike a good balance between stretch and structure. At 256g (Medium), they feel barely there when moving. The recycled polyamide blend gives a soft, flexible feel that dries quickly and handles heat well, with just enough wind resistance for breezy ridgelines.
I found the cut relaxed without being loose, and the articulated fit felt natural. The pockets are well placed—especially the seat pocket, which stays out of the way but is handy for small essentials. These would be good for warm-weather walking where comfort and range of motion matter more than outright weatherproofing.
