Our Verdict
Ortlieb's Ortlieb Gravel Pack - Pair are a great option for bikepackers. Adding a significant amount of storage for those longer adventures or when you need extra room for winter gear these panniers are spot on. The pannier concept can be a little controversial in bikepacking circles but different trips demand different kit and therefore different storage solutions.
These panniers are specifically designed to cope with the rigours of bikepacking rather than just touring. With two mounting hooks ensure that the panniers are more secure and bounce around a lot less than normal. As with aall the Ortlieb range these panniers are waterproof and no matter how harsh the weather gets they can cope, leaving your kit safe and dry. They are made using the same durable materials as the rest of the bikepacking range these could be used as a hard wearing commuter or touring pannier set if you are in need of less volume.
