Handy low profile, low weight clips that I will inevitably use on every backpacking trip.
Gram-counter Gear says:
Small in size and big in utility, these simple little carabiner clips come in handy just about anywhere, in camp or on the trail. Super small and super light, they can be used to secure wet gear to a rucksack, hang your head torch in your tent, secure car keys inside your bag, or keep a tent door from flapping in the wind. The Dual Carabiner will surely be a welcome addition to your backpacking setup.
Not for load bearing, or PPE situations, these are for gear storage
Our Verdict
I love these handy little clips, they weigh next to nothing and are very low profile, personally I keep two attached to my rucksacks, and two attached to the washing line on the inside of my tent. Most of the time I use a minimalist single skin tent, which, to save weight, doesn’t have any internal storage. So these clips help me manage my gear a little better, and if the tent suffers with condensation, I can mop up any water, and hang my towel on the outside of my pack to dry. I never notice I have the Dual Carabiners on me, but I'm always thankful I do.
