Our Verdict
The Contour Removable Hip Belt is a straightforward upgrade for the Contour 35, replacing the minimal webbing belt with a padded version that improves fit and weight transfer. At roughly 103g, it adds minimal weight but provides far better contact with the hips, distributing the pack's weight to the hips as well as to the sholders. The design clips cleanly into the pack’s belt mounts and adjusts easily.
The two zipped pockets offer practical space for snacks or small items that you want close at hand. Construction feels solid, with Dyneema Gridstop and neat foam shaping that keeps the belt stable as you move.
