A shoulder strap pouch that prioritises access and organisation.
Montbell says:
Attaches to the shoulder strap of a backpack while holding a smartphone along with a compact camera, portable battery, or other items. Two rear hook-and-loop straps keep the pouch in place during active movements and detach for compatibility with belts, backpack hipbelts, hooks, and other objects. Constructed with built-in padding to help absorb shocks.
Our Verdict
At 86g, the Montbell Attachable Multi-Item Pouch Medium is one of the larger options in this category, but it earns its keep with generous storage and a smart layout. The wide-opening zip and internal mesh divider keep essentials organised and close at hand. The padding gives structure and protection without feeling bulky, and the hook-and-loop attachment feels secure even during fast movement. It sits comfortably on a shoulder strap and offers a lot more usable space than many alternatives. The external mesh sleeve adds quick-access space, and the inner leash loop is a nice touch for keys.
