Our Verdict
The Alpinisto is Gregory's lightweight alpine ruck sack that is minimal but still has many of the feature that you need for your alpine adventures.
The bag itself is made from a lightweight but durable high-density nylon with a double layered panel at the bottom of the bag, that offers a good level of protection for the Alpine environment.
Simplistic features such as the elastic at the front for crampon attachment, ice axe loops on the side, reinforced ski loops and gear loops on the hip belt, all provide the features that you need but are easy to use and not overengineered.
It's not as fancy as some of the other Alpine bags on the market but it doesn't need to be as it has all that you need and remains very lightweight.
