Our Verdict
I'm always a fan of a long-sleeved base layer, you can roll up the sleeves in warm weather, and if the sun is very hot, you can roll the sleeves down to protect yourself from the sun; that’s why I always look for long sleeve base layers preferably with a zip, to regulate heat even when you are exerting yourself quickly. The Aenergy Longsleeve has a huge half-length zip, something I really appreciate on hot days.
This first layer fits well, I'm a medium in most clothing, and I don’t see any need to go up or down in sizing. The Polyester knit feels soft against your skin, and the odour control works well. A good base layer that ticks all the boxes for me
