At 15g, the Active Beanie is purpose-built for fast, cold-weather activity. The grid-backed fleece balances insulation and breathability, shedding heat quickly when active. The low-profile design sits neatly under helmets and hoods, with no bulky seams or cuffs to cause pressure points. The polyester fabric feels soft against the skin and dries fast when exertion ramps up.
During steady hikes, breathability stands out: moisture disperses quickly, preventing clammy build-up on climbs. While warmth is modest, it’s ideal for layering and high-output use rather than when stationary.
A product that will live in my hip belt pocket year-round. It’s incredibly light, breathable, and provides an instant hit of warmth when needed. It takes up so little space that it’s easy to always have it with you. Really impressed with this little hat!
