Our Verdict
The Abisko hike shorts are an excellent choice for hikers in the warmer months of the year. They have a close technical fit. The Abisko also has an integrated belt, which sits nicely and keeps the shorts in position. You also have two zipped hand-warming pockets and a pocket on the thigh of the right leg to keep your valuables safe.
If the weather has taken a turn and you no longer need shorts, they pack down inside their own pocket so you can stash them in your rucksack.
Fjallraven's G100 Air Stretch is a durable 65% polyester, 35% cotton blend that works really well in warm conditions. They dry incredibly quickly if you get caught out in the rain or get splashed fording a river. They also look nice, so you’ll get plenty of use from them on the trail and at home.
