Strong, dependable poles at a weight and price that make them easy to recommend.
Fizan says:
These trekking poles are a great choice for trekking and hiking. Built as 3-part poles with a wide adjustable length range to suit different users and terrains, they combine lightweight strength with reliable performance. Constructed from ALU 7075 and finished with eye-catching graphics, the poles feature e-basket steel tips for dependable traction on rock, dirt and mixed ground.
Each pair includes snow baskets to make walking on snow easier. A secure twist lock holds the poles at your desired length, while ergonomic handles and easily adjusted straps deliver comfort, control and a confident grip on long outings. Durable, portable and simple to set up, these poles are ideal for day hikes, multi-day treks and winter walks.
Our Verdict
At 234g per pole, the Fizan Explorer offers a sturdy 7075 aluminium build with a wide adjustment range from 63 to 140cm. The twist-lock system holds well if kept clean, though it benefits from occasional maintenance to prevent slippage in wet or gritty conditions. I appreciate the low price point for poles that feel this solid on rough ground, and the supplied steel tips and snow baskets add versatility across terrain.
The handles provide adequate control, but the plastic finish feels less refined than that of foam or cork, and may not suit everyone. Similarly, the wrist straps are serviceable but could become irritating on longer outings if not adjusted carefully. That said, the overall construction inspires confidence, and the balance between strength, packability, and cost is difficult to fault. For walkers seeking reliability without overspending, these poles deliver consistent performance.
