At the heart of the F10 MTN 2's design is its 4-pole geodesic structure, enhanced by Vango's innovative Axial Hub aluminium pole system. This configuration creates an exceptionally stable and robust framework capable of withstanding high winds. The semi-free-standing shelter is particularly valuable when pitching on rocky ground.
Weighing 2895 grams (excluding pegs and bags), the F10 MTN 2 strikes a commendable balance between durability and weight. While it's not the lightest option in its class, the extra ounces increase stability.
The flysheet is crafted from Protex 30D Ripstop Nylon, offering an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and enhanced water repellency. The groundsheet is made of 70D Ripstop Nylon, providing a robust barrier against moisture and abrasion.
