Our Verdict
The Therm-a-Rest Z-Seat(SOL) is basically a mini version of the popular Z Lite SOL mattress. The proprietary foams are softer on top for extra comfort and denser on the bottom for extra durability. Ideal if you think you're going to be encountering rough terrain as it's practically indestructible. And at under 60g it's not going to add a lot of weight for that extra little bit of comfort.
The ThermaCapture coating provides additional insulation from cold ground making this an ideal seat for the ski tourer or backpacker.
