Its a big pot at 2.8Litres so weight wise its not too bad. its Nirvana for camper vans or sea kayaks where space is a premium but there are drawbacks to this type of camping pot.
Sea to Summit says:
Collapsible pots for quick and easy backcountry cooking. The Backpacker magazine Editor’s Choice award was bestowed upon the X-Pot in 2015 for its innovation, space-saving capability and functionality. The real beauty of X-Series cookware is its ability to nest neatly with other pieces from the range and collapse to a small disc that can easily slide into a backpack, canoe bag or camping box.
Our Verdict
Sea to Summit's X-Pot 2.8 Litreis a big pot and is therefore not too heavy given its volume. The real advantage of this type of collapsable pot is volume when stored - so these are ideal for camper vans or working it through a sea kayak hatch opening. Their limitations include not being able to allow flames up the side of the pot on the stove - for some this will be too limiting.
Oh, we also love the transparent lid - like the pots in my kitchen at home.
