Our Verdict
Weighing in around 222g for the medium, this 12-litre vest has been built with long-distance efforts in mind. The updated Comfort Cinch 3.0 system provides a secure fit without restricting movement, and the mesh construction maintains consistent airflow even when the pace picks up. I appreciated how the front bottle pockets sat just right—close enough for quick access without bounce—and the included 500ml flasks are soft and easy to drink from on the go.
There’s a good mix of accessible storage too: the chest pockets take a phone without fuss, and the rear stretch stash space is large enough for a jacket or spare layer. The water-resistant main compartment gives extra peace of mind for valuables, and the rear bungee system secures everything in place nicely when the vest isn’t fully loaded.
Pole carry is flexible, working well from the front or back, and pairs well with the included bungee loops. I did find the sizing leans slightly roomy, so it’s worth double-checking measurements if you prefer a closer fit.
