The Sea to Summit Traverse TvIII Synthetic Sleeping Bag is a versatile cold-weather sleeping bag. It features Thermolite insulation, which provides excellent warmth while remaining lightweight and compressible. Its unique WaveLoft construction allows the insulation to expand and trap air, maximising warmth even in colder conditions.
The Traverse TvIII boasts an EN comfort rating of -4°C and a comfort limit of -10°C. This makes it suitable for use in various conditions, from early spring to late fall and winter. The more comprehensive mummy cut design ensures a comfortable night's sleep, no matter your preferred sleeping position.
One of the standout features is the Free-Flow zipper system, which includes a full-length left-side zipper, a half-length right-side zipper, and a foot box zipper. These zippers allow for unparalleled ventilation, making it easy to adjust the bag for warmer weather. You can even open the bag flat to use it as a comforter.
The materials are lightweight yet durable, with a 30D DWR Nylon shell and a 20D Nylon lining. These fabrics, combined with the proprietary Thermolite blend insulation, provide a balance of warmth, softness, and high loft. The Traverse TvIII is available in regular and extended sizes, accommodating up to 198 cm tall users. Despite its roomy interior, the bag compresses down to a compact size, making it easy to pack and carry.
