The Sea to Summit Traverse TvII is a three-season camping and backpacking sleeping bag. It features Thermolite synthetic insulation, WaveLoft construction, a tapered rectangular shape, and a Free-flow zipper system.

The Traverse transitions easily into warmer weather with a full-length left-side zipper, a half-length right-side zipper, and a foot box zipper that provide unparalleled ventilation or allow the Traverse to be opened completely flat like a comforter. In colder weather, the unique WaveLoft construction allows the Thermolite insulation to expand out into air-trapping curves for maximum warmth.
Whatever the season, the wider mummy cut of the Traverse gives you room to move, no matter what position you sleep in.
Our Verdict
The Sea to Summit Traverse TvII is a versatile and roomy synthetic sleeping bag well-suited for three-season camping and backpacking. An EN comfort rating of 2°C provides cosy warmth on cool nights.
Thermolite synthetic insulation is used strategically throughout Sea to Summit's unique WaveLoft construction, creating insulating air pockets that maximise loft and warmth. The tapered rectangular shape allows freedom of movement without excess dead air space.
What makes the Traverse TvII so versatile is its Free-flow zipper system. To regulate temperature, you can open the entire side zipper, half zip, or foot vent. In mild conditions, it lies fully flat as a blanket.
Other key features include a shaped hood, draft collar, waterproof, breathable shell, and hang loops for drying. Despite its spacious cut, the Traverse TvII still compresses down small.
