If you're camping up high or on hard stoney ground these super strong Nail Pegs are ideal. Titanium construction keeps weight down to a minimum without sacrificing strength or durability.
Gram-counter Gear says
Titanium wire is highly resistant to bending - so you can get away with producing tent pegs that are quite thin yet still strong - and when you make a thick peg like these Gram-Counter Gear Nail Pegs you have a virtually un-bendable peg.
Gram-Counter Gear Nail Pegs are ideal for very rough stony ground where you might expect to hammer pegs in with rocks.
Our Verdict
The Gram-counter Gear Titanium Nail Pegs are your first port of call for rough stony ground that requires pegs are driven into the ground. These will not bend.
Threaded with high strength cord they can be pulled out of the ground along their axis. Note the end of the peg is not bent - because it can't be! The guy line is secured by the angle the peg is driven in at.
