Our Verdict
The headtorch comes with three AAA batteries, which are very simple to remove but the headtorch is also compatible with Prtzel’s Core battery ( NOT INCLUDED), which charges with a micro-USB, so you can charge the torch almost anywhere. This is the headtorch I take away if I'm on a multi-day hike as being able to charge on the go gives me the confidence, that I'm not suddenly running out of charge and potentially finding myself in a dangerous situation.
The headband is very stretchy and can be worn for prolonged periods of time without it causing any irritation.
The torch has three main settings 7 lumens, perfect for finding something in your tent, 100 lumens for running and such at dusk, and 300 which is perfect for any nighttime activities in the full dark. It also has a red light setting for when you don’t want to disturb your camping buddy
