Our Verdict
The Swift Run Gaiters from Outdoor Research are impressively minimalist—at just 35g a pair, they disappear on your feet but still do their job well. The stretch fabric hugs trail runners closely, keeping grit and fine stones out without trapping heat. The breathable weave and slim cut make them especially well-suited to warm conditions. They’re water resistant enough for dry trails and morning dew, though I wouldn’t count on them in soaking wet conditions.
