The Superlite Bothy is a lightweight version of Terra Nova's Bothy Bags. Using silicone coated fabric, they offer a lower weight and smaller pack size.
Terra Nova says:
The Superlite range has been extended to include versions of our ever-popular bothy bags. By using our lightweight fabrics, and removing any unnecessary extras like windows and pole "sockets" we have reduced both the weight and pack size. Whats more these Superlite models will compress even smaller, giving extra pack space for you other kit.
Our Verdict
Used by Mountain Rescue the bothy bag is an invaluable piece of emergency kit. If the worst happens, the Superlite Bothy will protect two or four people from the weather. The Superlite version is 25% lighter and has a smaller pack size than the standard bothy.
