Our Verdict
Buff's Sun Bucket Hat is a lightweight hat, that's perfectly suited to travel and backpacking with the small pack size. It provides a good amount of weather protection with decent all-round coverage from the brim, the fabric is rated to UPF 50+ for the sun.
A cinch cord round the head stops the hat blowing away on windy days but you have the chin strap as an extra security if you feel you need it.
