For a single stove for all conditions, it’s hard to beat the Soto StormBreaker. With excellent wind resistance, high efficiency, and its multi-fuel burning ability, the StormBreaker is a beautiful bit of kit, essential for backcountry adventures with unreliable supplies.

SOTO's StormBreaker Multi-Fuel Stove + Fuel Bottle is a single stove solution for whichever fuel you prefer. Capable of burning any liquid or gas fuel, the Soto StormBreaker is an excellent, highly versatile mid-weight stove. The wide burner head ensures a quick, efficient boil, and the wide stance provided by the large legs make this an extremely stable stove. The versatility of the StormBreaker is what makes it really stand out from the competition as its multi-fuel capabilities result in a stove that has quickly become my go-to piece of gear for any adventure.
Soto’s legendary quality is on show here, with the whole kit, from the pump to the canister attachment, being beautifully made. The pump is an engineering marvel, providing much higher pressures than competitors stoves to eliminate the leakages that have traditionally plagued liquid fuel stoves. The stove is also surprisingly compact, with legs that fold tightly around the burner head to create a small, unobtrusive bundle that’ll slip into any ultralight pack. It must be noted that due to the high pressure of the Smart Pump, it is vitally important that only Soto’s own gas bottle should be used with the StormBreaker.
