Our Verdict
This is a small replacement fire steel rod (sold individually) for the UltraFire Knife. Small and lightweight, it can be used on its own, making it the perfect product to stash in a first aid kit and forget about until use. Replacing the rod in your UltraFire Knife is a painless affair, but unless you carry a Phillips-head screwdriver, it's the type of maintenance that needs to be done at home rather than on the trail.
