Our Verdict
Eagle Creek's Sandman Eyeshade gives total coverage, creating a completely enclosed area around your eyes it blocks out all light. It even has light padding around the bottom so it sits comfortably on the top of your cheeks and nose.
It may be a bit of a luxury item for backpacking, but it's still a light enough piece of kit to warrant taking with you just because of how effective it can be.
