Our Verdict
These newly updated Roclite Pros have built on what was already a fantastic hiking shoe; they have improved the durability of the overall shoe, and the new midsole has enhanced comfort. The shoes are incredibly comfortable straight out-of-the-box. The graphene sole is very well laid out and grippy, which gave me confidence in various conditions, including wet rock and grassy slopes; with the tread not being massively deep, it may need help in the worst muddy conditions.
The new honeycomb durable nylon ripstop upper material is hardwearing and provides excellent protection. The Gore Waterproof Lining also does its job wonderfully. Overall, this is a very capable boot that offers many advantages. A fast and light hiking shoe with the support of a hiking boot and the cushion of a trail runner.
