Our Verdict
At 486g (UK8), the Scarpa Ribelle Cross 2 GTX blends a low-profile feel with dependable support. The mesh and TPU upper keeps weight down while remaining durable, and the Gore-Tex ePE lining delivers waterproofing with reduced environmental impact. The fit works well for moderately wide feet, offering a secure hold on steeper terrain without feeling restrictive.
The Presa sole provides confident traction both ascending and descending, making it well-suited to varied ground.
