Our Verdict
Inov8's Raceshell HZ Unisex waterproof is focused on minimum weight and low bulk for racers; this is a simple and effective racer shell.
Its unique feature is that it is semi-transparent so that a race number can be worn under the shell, and race stewert can still see your number even in bad weather conditions; this is an excellent feature and shows that Inov8 are race minded.
As you would expect for a jacket this light, its feature asset is minimal; the hood has a stiffened peak and a drawcord around the face; the 1/4 length zip has two zips so you can tailor the level of ventilation/wet weather protection when you are working hard, in terms of features that's about it.
