Montane's Phase Gaiter Gore-Tex Gaiters have all the features of traditional gaiters, but in a generally lighter-weight package, you have full leg coverage, an under bootstrap and a burly lace hook. They are made from tough 40D Gore-tex weave, making them durable and waterproof.

Our Verdict
Montane's Phase Gaiter Gaiters have all the features of traditional gaiters, but in a generally lighter weight package, a medium pair weighs just 162 grams. This weight saving is achieved by removing the front zip and relying on the velcro closure - we like this closure because it works. There's no need for a zip, making the gaiters heavier.
A good make-up of lightweight gaiters in a traditional package.
