Our Verdict
Eagle Creek's Pack-It Specter Cube system is a series of shaped pouches that allow you to organise your luggage without adding extra weight to your kit bags. Using this type of packing system is a revelation the first time you try it - unpacking is a matter of removing half a dozen bags from your luggage, and packing at the end of your trip is equally quick and easy.
Each component of the system has a zipper that runs round at least half the perimeter of the pouch giving easy access to the contents, and a haul loop makes loading and unloading easy. Eagle Creek's 'Cube' is the basic building block, with other components related to it in size, so you have 'Half Cube' which is the same proportions but half the size, and the 'Tube Cube' which is the 'Cube' halved long-ways.
The Pack-it Specter Clean Dirty Cube is a great product that has a divider that allows you to separate the dirty clothes from the clean and the damp from the dry. Always useful.
