Our Verdict
This reasonably light camping chair is too heavy to take backpacking with me, but as a campsite chair, this is a luxury. The pole structure is, obviously, where the majority of the weight of this chair comes from, they are beefy, but I feel adequately supported. The chair poles have a Bungie cord running throughout, so the set-up is incredibly simple.
The chair sits higher than most camping chairs, just over 18 inches (45 cm). This makes it a good choice for anyone with knee or back problems, as it takes much less effort to get out of. The chair is also wider than most camping chairs, so you get added comfort and don't feel as “squeezed in.”
