Our Verdict
Helly Hansen's Lifa Active Solen Hoodie is a comfy base layer that excels at wicking moisture away. The high level of sun protection combined with good breathability mean that this top works well in warmer conditions and changeable conditions when you are active so it's ideal for runners, hikers and cyclists alike. This Hoodie version gives that extra bit of protection in terms of full coverage for your head, whether you're trying to keep the sun off or the chill out.
The top has a bit more of an athletic fit compared to other Helly Hansen base layers but this reflects the fact that it is designed for active wear. It is still suitable for a variety of body types but minimises the loose material for when you are on the move. With classic Helly Hansen styling you can look good and stay comfortable.
