Our Verdict
The Latitude Hat has one of the widest brims in the Sunday Afternoons line, providing excellent cover with the bonus of a dark under brim to help protect your eyes from glare. The wide brim and high UPF 50+ sun rating alone will keep you feeling protected.
The fabric used is a lightweight, breathable microfibre polyester which is DWR coated for stain and water resistance. It's also Bluesign certified which means it's sustainably produced fabric which is always good to see.
Feature wise there's a long ventilation panel across the top of the hat and a soft moisture wicking sweatband to keep you feeling comfortable and dry. It has Sunday Afternoons unique Sunglass Lock feature which is great for keeping your sunglasses in place on your hat so you don't loose them.
It has pull cord built into the brim at the back of the hat which allows for easy adjustment along with a more simple chinstrap. The hat can be folded in half to create a smaller pack size to fit in your suitcase or bag, and won't damage the brim thanks to it's reverse split folding brim design. Overall a great summer hat which will leave you feeling comfortable and protected.
