Our Verdict
Mountain Equipment's Ignis LS Zip Tee uses Polygiene, which we're big fans of, to reduce odour build up on your baselayer. This makes the Ignis perfect for longer treks where washing facilities may be non-existent, you can still rock up to town after days on the trail without repelling the locals with your smell.
As a baselayer the Ignis has a few standout features. It has flatlocked seams for better comfort when worn next-to-skin. The zip is deep and ideal for venting, it also has a locking zipper to keep it exactly where you want it even if you're running and bouncing around. The fabric has a cool grid design which is mainly for form over function, but it does look good.
