Our Verdict
The Ignis Down Parka from Montbell is a weatherproof down jacket that is incredibly warm for its weight. The 60g of 1000-fill down is distributed evenly throughout the jacket, so it feels warmer than other jackets in thie weight range
The Gore-Tex Infinium in this jacket provides additional warmth and wind resistance, keeping you protected from the cold and rain. It is the perfect layering piece for the cold, wet, wintry conditions in the UK.
This jacket is perfect for everyday wear, with its waterproof zippered chest pocket, fleece-lined hand pockets, and two large inner pockets.
Although the price tag on this jacket may seem high, once you experience the warmth it provides for its lightweight and packable design, you will question why you ever purchased other down jackets.
