Iceland 2018

There can't be many outdoor folk for which Iceland is not on their radar, it has certainly been on mine for many years. In September 2018 I tackled Paddy Dillon's suggested 9 day trek in the Landmannalauger region, and was mightily rewarded – Blue skies and Black clouds, hot rivers and cold crossings, volcanoes and steam vents, barren flat landscapes and colourful deep ravines – the contrasts are compelling.
