Our Verdict
Montbell's Gore-Tex O.D. Cap uses top quality Gore-Tex C-Knit fabric to provide a fully wind and waterproof barrier. The weight of this cap is very impressive, weighing in at just 38g. The 20D fabric is surprisingly durable, especially at this weight. The peak is a good size and provides a good level of coverage from the sun and rain.
The high wicking headband across the front is a nice touch that does help when things have warmed up. As with all the current Montbell caps the rear adjuster is simple and easy to use even when you're on the move.
