Our Verdict
Adventure Nutrition's Extreme Expedition Food 1000 Kcal Chicken Korma is one of a small range of 1000Kcal meals, basically 1000 calories is huge, and from experience I know its difficult to eat in one sitting.
Having said that I always take a few if I'm going on a long-ish trek because you can easily fail to eat enough. Often by day 5 or 6 I find I haven't been consuming enough calories because I feel weak and lacking energy - that's when I finish early and break out a 1000 calorie pouch.
Last time was in Iceland - I ate my 1000 calories about three in the afternoon and was still ready for an evening meal later on.
