Our Verdict
The Eagle Creek Expanse 4-Wheel Luggage 60L offers a dependable mix of volume, structure, and manoeuvrability. At 3764g, it’s not ultralight, but it feels built to last, with reinforced corners, a robust handle system, and smooth, multi-directional wheels that hold their own across airport terminals and rougher transfers. The recycled ripstop fabric is weather-resistant and reassuringly rugged.
There’s plenty of room inside, with compression straps to keep contents under control and a mesh divider that makes organisation easy. I found the expansion zip useful, the front pocket works well for stashing a jacket or documents, and the lash points are ideal if you’re strapping extra gear on top.
