The Outdoor Research Echo Printed Hoodie is a versatile, ultralight layer for year-round adventures. Weighing just 117g for a medium, it’s a fantastic option for those who value minimal weight and maximum performance. Whether hiking in summer or using it as a winter base layer, the breathable AirVent fabric ensures excellent moisture management, keeping you dry on strenuous outings.
The hoodie provides UPF 15 sun protection, which I admit seems low, but it actually means it blocks about 93% of the sun's rays (for reference, UPF 50 blocks about 98% of the sun's rays). It includes ActiveFresh™ odour control, making it a reliable choice for multi-day trips. Its quick-drying fabric, flat-seam construction, and thumb holes add to its comfort and usability, while the trim fit allows it to layer easily.
