Our Verdict
Sunday Afternoons hats offer incredible performance! We don`t say that lightly Sunday Afternoons are committed to designing headgear that protect the wearer from the Sun and they achieve this in spades. The protection they offer is invaluable.
The Cruiser hat has a very wide brim which takes care of the sun protection its well-constructed but the brim is wired which means its not crushable, so you have to be careful how you store it. The chin cord is fixed but can be snipped off if desired - the hat is quite deep so providing you get the correct size it won`t blow off in any but the strongest winds.
In the crown there's an absorbent mesh band and a vent around the top edge. There's also some size adjustment by virtue of a shockcord around the back edge. Its a really good hat with the only drawback being the wired brim - but that's necessary to preserve the shape and look of the hat.
