Fizan's Compact Pro Trekking Pole are well engineered and minimise weight by saving on external fittings. They are remarkably strong for their weight and with the expanded foam grip and range of adjustability really versatile.

The Fizan Compact Pro is a development of the excellent and popular Fizan Compact pole and has all of the same features of super light Alu 7001 pole sections, Ergonomic handle etc. The main additional feature of the Compact Pro is the extended foam grip which facilitates multiple hand positions – An advantage on steep or broken terrain. At 175g this is still a very lightweight pole.

Our Verdict
Fizan's Compact Pro Trekking Poles have the same light-weight feature set as the ever popular Fizan Compacts. The point of difference is the expanded foam grip giving more of the pole you can comfortably use. This is of great benefit on mixed terrain as you don't need to adjust the height of the pole just the position of your hands.
They don't have ferrules around the joints as their jointing mechanism is completely enclosed inside the shaft of the pole, saving on weight. This also makes them easier to slide into rucskack compression straps for example. The range of length adjustment make these great poles to use for tarp and trekking pole tents.
As well as 2 baskets sizes, Fizan include rubber feet for using on hard surfaces.
