The Fizan Compact 3 are the world’s lightest Trekking poles. Sold as a pair, these are 3-part poles with an adjustable length from 59 – 132cm that weigh only 158g. Made in ALU 7001, excellent graphics on lightweight trekking poles that feature e-basket carbide tips.
These poles come with a pair of both 35 and 50mm baskets included to allow for year-round walking on mixed terrains. Twist lock to hold the poles in their desired length. The pole handles are ergonomic and have easily adjusted straps.
Our Verdict
At 158g per pole, the Fizan Compact 3 ranks among the lightest telescopic options out there, and the build quality holds up impressively well for the weight. The aluminium shafts feel reassuringly solid, and the twist-lock mechanism is simple, secure, and dependable—even when using the poles to support a shelter. The EVA grips are comfortable for long days on the trail, and the wrist straps adjust easily without fuss.
The supplied baskets are useful, keeping the poles from disappearing into soft ground or between rocks, and the carbide tips bite well on everything from slick granite to muddy paths. They collapse down to 59 cm—not the shortest, but compact enough to lash outside a pack without issue.
