The power bank offers 10000mAh, dual charging modes and dual charging ports with a maximum output of 20 watts. It can provide sufficient power for smart phones, GPS, headlamps, earphones and so much more.
The carbon fiber power bank features a USB-A (18w output) and USB-C (20w output + 18w input) making it compatible with different devices. A low current mode can be chosen to charge low current devices such as smart watches, smart bands and wireless headphones and a power level display shows how much power is left and when a recharge is necessary.
Our Verdict
The Nitecore Carbo 10000 is an ultra-portable and well-built power bank perfect for life on the go. Weighing just 157g, its carbon fibre body is incredibly lightweight yet extremely durable and resistant to scratches and corrosion.
With a 10,000mAh capacity, it packs enough power to recharge most phones 2-3 times or keep other USB devices like headlamps and wireless headphones running for days. The dual USB-A and USB-C ports allow simultaneous charging of two devices at up to 20W combined.
Quick charge and low current modes provide optimal charging speeds for phones and devices that take less power, such as smartwatches or headphones. The digital power display lets you see the remaining battery life at a glance, though I wish they did something more accurate than four lights. A percentage indicator would be preferable.
While not the highest capacity, the Carbo 10000 makes up for it with a clever, rugged design and versatile charging capabilities. Its slender size easily slips into bags or pockets. This durable little power bank is an excellent portable power solution for active users seeking a lightweight yet rapid charging solution.
