Affric Kintail Way 2018 - Introduction

Posted by Danny Pearson on Mar 01, 2018

In Spring 2017, Danny trekked from Glenfinnan to Inverie in Knoydart with a friend and they decided to do something similar in early Spring 2018.

They picked out a week in 2018 (not realising at the time it was over Easter) and looked at a few potential routes mainly in the Scottish Highlands. They eventually narrowed it down to the Affric Kintail Way to be walked over 4 days with a spare day for travelling back or completing the walk if weather conditions were bad and progress slower than expected.

There was also the option of a bothy for one night at the end of the first day.
