Leki's Black Series FX Carbon Trekking Poles have been designed for trekking and multi day backpacking so are robust, with a very comfortable grip. These poles also pack down to a really short 40cm.

Our Verdict
Everything LEKI does is about quality, although not the absolute lightest poles LEKI poles are famously well-designed and super tough. Leki's Black Series FX Carbon Trekking Poles have been designed for trekking and multi day backpacking so are extremely robust, they have a comfortable cork-like grip and dual Lever Locks for continuous adjustment.
The Cork-like grip is particularly cool and comforable and some people prefer this to the ubiquitous foam grip. The Black Series Poles do have a foam section extending down the shaft of the pole which is really useful for steep ascent.
We also like the short packed length of 40cm, just so convenient, especially when travelling.
