Alpha 120 hoodies are a cozy, high performance layer you shouldn't go without when you need that high end, but lightweight warmth! This weight of Alpha is best for very chilly summer nights, as an active layer in the fall, and worn under a puffy in the depths of winter. You will not be disappointed by the warmth to weight ratio of these (~6oz), and the unbeatable softness of this fabric!
This is an inherently delicate fabric and must be treated as such! It will snag easily, so keep it away from Velcro, dog claws, and definitely don’t bushwhack in it! These are limited runs of hoodies, apologies if you don't see size!

The addition of a quarter zip makes a noticeable difference. It allows quick heat regulation on climbs or when conditions shift, giving more control than a simple pull-over design. The wider fit provides room through the torso, making layering straightforward without feeling restrictive. It works well over a base layer and under a shell without bunching.
The fabric feels soft against the skin and manages moisture effectively, drying quickly after sustained effort. Its open structure promotes airflow, helping prevent overheating during high-output activity. The drawcord hood adds useful protection in cold wind and sits comfortably under outer layers.
The fabric requires some care, as the lofted knit can snag, but overall, the Alpha 120 Hoodie Quarter Zip is an efficient insulation piece for cooler climates.
